Annie

Bio

Annie was born in a small house of poor people but kind people. Due to their impossibility to keep her and her siblings, they left them to a family friend who was going in the zone around Adventure Bay and the close towns for commercial reasons. While sending his products with other farmers, he offered the pups around and all got adopted aside her. He kept trying to a while, until he decided to ask help himself and left her to other farmers who lived around a town/village very close to the mountains, so they could find her a place to stay with. Eventually, she ended up switching back and forth between farms and homes, not having a set place to stay and just got used to be "everyone's" dog. All the cizitiens of the town and the farmers around took her in in turns and she was free to go and come back, being always hosted gladly by them.

That way, she got the chance to try different works: From the production of milk, to the one of meat and even of honey. From taking care of animals to taking care of fields, fruits and vegetables. From doing shepard jobs to organising fair events with games, contests and cooking. From selling products to markets to searching products in the forest (mushrooms, berries etc... She also knows how to hunt but doesn't like it so she avoids it).

With time, she got really close to a middle-age woman, who lost her husband and felt very lonely, whom also is the main organizer of the town's events, which includes the fairs and the market's plans, going in groups to the nearby cities and selling first quality products. Annie ended up living with her and helping in her small farm around their hut at high altitude (reminds the hut Heidi lives into). She still goes sometimes to help other farmers or in the village, rarely sleeping at their places, and she of course travels with the market or for the fairs, but her set home is with the lady.

Personality

Annie is a very hard working dog, always ready to lend a paw or to get the job's done. She tends to overwork or exhaust herself and is very stubborn in letting others help her, but she enjoys working in group and collaborating. She is just afraid to slack off and not being helpful or do her own part on her own.

She loves where she lives a lot and would do anything for her cared ones (her owner but also the entire area, where everyone is like family) and home, however she can also feel lonely at times since she doesn't hang out a lot to just "have fun" at the start. While she gets along well with all the few dogs, cats and people around, she has difficulties to hang out with others due to her duties (self-assigned) she is also not very used to see someone outside her comfort setting. This results in her being clumsy and social awkward at times. The only times she feels able to do so, is when she is in a place she fits well, similar to her own home, feel relaxed, or if there is something to do that makes her concentrate and focus, giving her the chance to be more open naturally. Thankfully, slowly thanks for the fairs and the market she also manages to take time to engage with others outside work and in other towns, like Adventure Bay and improves in her social skills. However, she will always feel more comfortable in her own area with the village, the neighboors and the ones that live a simple, humble, honest but hard-working life.

She is very competitive and loves to have fun and release all her energy. Annie also has a good sense of boundaries and knows when to leave space to someone, always very respectful of and aware of what someone needs as comfort, even if she would like to help. She can stubborn and blunt, but she has her heart in the right place.

Slowly, while her puppy energy starts to ease, she learns to relax more and takes long walks or explores but with milder intentions, even just to enjoy the mountains, the natural settings and enjoy the world she lives into.

Even if she isn't extremely skilled in social life when it comes to having fun and chilling, she is very good at seeling stuff and feels very at ease with the other merchants at the market reunions. In those occasions, she seems so out of place but she is totally not.

Appearance

Annie is a Great Pyrenees and Rough Collie Mix. She has a mid length fur, but it would be much longer if she didn't have haircuts regularly, due to her sensitive nature to hot weather. She has two high and small floppy ears, a soft tuft of fur on her head and a long fluffy tail. Annie's fur is mostly white with some cream, peach and light gold patches on her head back and base of the tail. Her eyes are crystal-icy blue and she wears a red bandana on the head.

Trivia

She enjoys pizza a lot but doesn't eat it often since she mostly eats from the products of the farms she lives into or found in the forest.
She gets along very well with Gluty, thanks to her work and seeing her sometimes when she delivers first quality products to Mr.Porter's bakery.
She is pansexual and likes both females and males. She would also be open to a poly relationship, but she is not very skilled in the topic and she is not actively searching for a partner.
She also considers herself non-binary but uses she/her at most. So, she is okay with others using they/them too for her.
She would like to have puppies one day, but is super scared of giving birth and is unsure if she'll ever find a partner. However, she doesn't feel rush so she is also open to adopt one day if she feels it's the only option to have someone to take care about.
She loves to get dirty, even if she likes to bathe a lot too. Her favourite activity would be getting a good mud bath to play into and then relax in a hot water bath.
She used to have much fluffier and longer fur, however her owners decided to have her regular haircuts due to her tendency to feel sick after working in the sun for long periods, which she tends to do.
She has a very good sense of smell which helps her a lot when searching for high quality mooshrooms.
She has a lot of stamina and high pain tolerance. She wouldn't have many problems with expired food or with not edible natural ingredients like some kinds of berries, mooshrooms and roots. This helps her to check for precaution food before others, being at most bothered only by a small stomach ache on most cases. Also she is not easily bothered by scratches or small injuries gotten while working and she also gets sick rarely. However, when she does she tends to get it bad, with high fever and tiredness.
She doesn’t like the show Apollo the super-pup or superheroes in general, due to a bad joke when she was young, after some puppies pulled a prank on her with superheroes costumes. Besides, she doesn't have much time to watch tv if not those few times she is hanging out with the kids and teens of the area.
Her owner and the cizitiens of the town, with the other farmers and merchants, commissioned Ryder a pup-pack as birthday gift for her when they stopped in Adventure Bay, so she could help around the farms as she pleased without overworking herself. She mostly wears it above a simple farm jacket and it's basic but able to customize with herding, farming, woodland explore's tools.
She is good friend with Ashes and Tex
