In February 2023, Myers unveiled multiple projects that were in development and scheduled to release between multiple formats including standard television and streaming. Aqua Pups: Throne of Puplantis was included in the lineup. Ariel Winter was set to voice Coral, but was replaced with Halle Bailey.
