Appearances[]

Ash is a mixed breed who's physical appearance is similar to Rocky, Comet, and Starlight, but his fur is black with gray highlights on his facial extremities. His paws and the end of his tail are white. His gear is based off of green, blue, and purple, which gives him an almost alien-like look. He grew up in the Storyland, which Telebot sent Ryu, Olivia, Marshall, and Rubble into. That's why he looks like how he does, because when he fought the Writer for the first time, his gray fur turned black and his eyes turned green, purple, and blue. The Writer indirectly gave him the ability to change his eye color, which switches the blue and green in his eyes. His gear is purple at the seams and ends, and has a little bit of green on it too. His hat is mostly blue with green sides and the tip of it is purple. His pup tag is a light blue water drop with a blue background most of the time because he’s mainly a firefighter, but there are some exceptions. When he uses his flamethrower, his pup tag turns into a flame, and when he’s using his lava sprayer, (since it’s like water and heat mixed together) his pup tag shows a sort of yin and yang for fire and water.

Bio[]

Ash grew up in Storyland in secret, because the Writer would go around trying to harm people or pups who gave birth. His parents got lost in one of the Writer's stories before he even got the chance to really know them, so he never really had a connection with his parents other than his dad a little bit. One day, he joined an alliance to defeat the Writer and they planned to go on a mission to defeat him in 3 days. He was assigned the job of firefighter if the Writer sent them into a story which required one, and then they went in. It went horribly and everyone except for Ash got captured or lost in the story. The villain in the story tried to get Ash lost, but he couldn’t because Ash was resilient. Ash, super tired out from trying to fight his way out, got struck by the villain’s magic and then he was knocked out with his fur color changed and he could now change his eye color. Then his mind just went black and he passed out. The next time he opened his eyes, he could hear a pup talking and saying that he was okay and not hurt. Then two hands gently wrapped around him and took him somewhere safe. Then a boy fed him and gave him something to drink. Once he was fully conscious again, they introduced themselves as Marshall, fire pup of the Paw Patrol; Rubble, construction pup of the Paw Patrol; and Ryu.

He introduced himself as Ash, firefighter of the Anti-Writer Alliance. Once everything was sorted out, they asked him what the Anti-Writer Alliance was, and he responded by saying an alliance formed to defeat the Writer. They further questioned him by asking who the Writer was, and he answered that he was a man that writes stories, and his targets are sent into it. The only way to defeat him was to get through all 3 stories, but no one had even gotten to the second one. Then he started to cry after remembering what had happened last time he tried, and they comforted him. Ryu made him a promise, that they would free Storyland from the Writer and save everyone. Ash was very, very hesitant to go back to the Writer, especially after what happened before, but he eventually agreed and they went to confront him. As they approached him, Ash saw him pull out his pen, and he couldn't take it anymore, so he started to freak out. It took both Ryu and Marshall to keep him calm, and that's when they were teleported into the first story.

As they entered the first scenario, they land in a field of grass, but when Ash accidentally tastes it, it's sweet. They find themselves in Candyland, and the queen is terrorizing the civilians with her rule of terror. In the second scenario, a relaxing summer day at the beach turns south when a tsunami comes. In the third scenario, a volcano is about to erupt onto 5 million oblivious civilians. They go through all 3 scenarios, Ash playing a pretty critical role in all three. When they got back to the Writer, they disarmed him of his book and pen, and Ash disintegrated him with his flamethrower. His four friends pressed the pups' watches and they were sent home, and Ash finally had rest and a sense of solace knowing the Writer was gone.

Ash was left without a real direction to go in, no real path to follow. Telebot could see this, so he thought he would make things interesting for him. In a matter of seconds, Telebot introduced himself to Ash, Ash introduced himself back, and Telebot threw him into the void. Ash was really cold and scared, a dark haze filled his vision and he started to get really sleepy. Once he finally landed, it was on something soft, which he later found out to be a pillow. Then he felt a blanket wrap around him, warming and soothing him as he drifted off into a cozy sleep. When he opened his eyes, Ash saw Ryu sitting there, taking care of him. Ash asked him where he was, and Ryu replied that he was in his bedroom. The next time Ryu would go to visit the Paw Patrol, Ash came along too, and Ryder, finding out about his accomplishments, gave him his pup tag and remodeled his gear to be his pup tag. Then he got his vehicle and pup house, but Ash wanted to stay with Ryu, so when Ryu went home, he stayed with him. Ash would continue living with Ryu, and would always lend a helping paw whenever it was needed.

Personality[]

Ash is a very sweet pup who makes bonds very easily, and strong ones too. He was really sad to see his friends go after they defeated the Writer because he had already created a strong bond between them, even in the short time they were together. Once Ryder gave him all of his gear and pup house, Ash didn't want to leave Ryu because of all the time they spent together. Ash loves being around Ryu and being his pup, and Ryu cares for him. He is generally happy as long as he's not thinking of his past, and he enjoys life mostly being carefree. When it comes to his friends, he is playful, but when they're in trouble, his personality goes from playful and carefree to serious and focused. He will never let any one of his friends get hurt, even if it means putting himself in danger. Ash also has a crush on Moonlight, and she likes him back, but it's sort of a long-distance relationship because they, you know, live in different realities. It started when they became great friends after the whole Moonlight Island incident, and then they both developed crushes on each other, that only grew more and more afterwards.

Ash loves playing around with the other pups and Ryu and his siblings. They always have a fun time together, and he cherishes the moments they have with each other. He also loves baths, he is completely the opposite of Rocky in that sense. Water is his favorite drink because he says he can use it for so many things: taking baths, drinking, and putting out fires. He has a strong bond with Marshall because they're both fire pups, and they train and play with each other when Ash comes to visit. He really doesn't like the thought of losing someone he has even a tiny bond with, whether it be a pup or a human. Sometimes he has a lot of trouble and gets lost in worry of losing someone, so Spira helps him handle it. He fears the cold because it's the opposite of warm, and fire's warm. He loves fire, mostly because he can handle any heat when he changes his eye color. He's also scared of messing up, because he feels like any damage caused by what he failed to solve is his fault.

When he changes his eye color, Ash becomes almost a completely new pup. He'll only respond to the ones he's working with and he becomes hyper-focused on the task at hand, because he only uses it in serious situations. When he changes his eye color is the only time he'll ever use his lava sprayer, because of its destructive capability. He can even be mean at times when using his ability, because he's so serious and focused on what he's doing. After using it, he becomes tired and drowsy because it drains his energy, so he avoids using it too often not only because of his personality change, but also because of how he feels afterwards.

Pressure Sensor - Under the sleeping mat. When activated retracts the mat and closes the compartment

Friends[]

Ryu - Ryu is his owner and he lives with him in his reality. The two have a strong bond and they really enjoy each other's company. Ryu plays with him a lot, and takes care of him, especially because his parents said they would do no more than buy food for Ash. Ash loves Ryu and Ryu loves him back, they always have fun when they're around each other. Whenever he's in trouble, Ash will go to Ryu as the first person to go to for help, and Ryu will go to Ash if he feels alone or lonely.

Ryu's Brothers - Ash plays around with Ryu's brothers and enjoys their company, although they're not on the same level for him as Ryu. They take care of him when Ryu's not around or at school, because his older brother stays home and does online school.

Marshall and Rubble - Marshall and Rubble both helped him get out of Storyland, and he's very grateful to them for that. They play often and the two are usually the first two he'll go to when he goes to Adventure Bay.

Moonlight - Ash has a crush on Moonlight, and she likes him back. Moonlight helps him deal with his past and the events that happened in it with her own experiences, and he's grateful for it. They talk a lot and everyone can tell they are just that little bit more than friends.

Comet, Starlight, and Rocky - He's friends with these three because his physical appearance is very similar to theirs. Even though his fur color and eye colors are different, they don't let it affect how they see him and play with him a lot.

He has an ability where his eyes change color. When it's active, it drains his energy, but it allows him to be completely heat-resistant. When his ability is active, he can also get very emotional very easily. He can't control himself, so if he gets really angry, he will get REALLY angry.
When he is a mighty pup, his ability is always active and drains no energy. He can shoot water, fire, and lava out of his paws, and out of his eyes he can send a dragon of energy, for travel or for attack.
