Chalko is a white and dark grey husky with a few small patches of light grey as well. He has ice-blue eyes and a dark grey collar. He has dark grey on his back, tail, ears, and face. The entire area around his eyes are white, with a small streak that goes to his nose. The light grey patches he has are on both of his left legs and hind right leg. His underbelly and his muzzle are also light grey.

Chalko is a really nice and compassionate sort, but is also rough at certain points. He would never hurt any of his friends but will step in and fight if necessary when someone else is harassing or harming one of his friends, or others he may not even know. He has a few hard parts in his life that can be a little painful for him to think about, but doesn't let really let them bother him that much. He shows a nice display of confidence, but is far from arrogant and prideful. While he may be unsure of himself on occasion, he'll try to remember that he does have self-worth.
Bio:[]
When he was first born he was at a checkpoint of a dogsled race. He stayed there with his siblings and mother until his father returned from the race he was competing in. He was named Chalko because when he and his siblings first opened their eyes they walked around the camp curious about the world surrounding them. He was walking past a fire that had been put out but still had burning pieces of charcoal around it. He walked over to them and accidentally burned his nose a little when he tried to sniff them. His mother saw this and decided to name him Chalko as an abbreviation of charcoal after she soothed him when he came crying to her.
As he began to grow up, he grew a fascination for dog sleds. While he wasn't exactly the biggest fan of racing them, he always went to cheer on his father with his mom and other siblings when they had the chance. Instead of racing, he decided to try running for the postal service to areas that were hard or impossible for mail trucks to get to.

- He is loosely based on a stuffed animal husky a friend gave me. The appearance is slightly different, but it's more or less similar. Its name is also Chalko, so I figured why not make it a character based off of him?
- His ability to identify plant and animal species is based off of what my friends and I learned in Scouts.
- He and Ragus love hanging out at each other's places to watch sporting events in their free time.
- He has a pet pika named Tona that he lets Lizeth take care of whenever he's away from town for a while.
- His favorite snack is seal jerky, (with salted peanuts a close second).
- He acts as a source of mental support for Kelsie whenever she is feeling down when she visits Alaska.
- When he is not pulling sleds, he will stay with his friend Ragus, or help at the docks cutting up icebergs that are towed in.
- He likes building igloos for him and his friends out of ice blocks.
