PAW Patrol: Rescue Pups is an upcoming animated television series produced by Paramount+. Based on PAW Patrol created by Keith Chapman, the television series tracks the adventures of a team of search and rescue dogs called the Rescue Pups who rescue people from various disasters.
The series was developed for Paramount+ by the end of 2024. It was officially announced in October 2024. Animation for the series was provided by Guru Studio and Mikros Image, with Jam Filled Entertainment also working on the first season and Moonbug Entertainment working on the second and third seasons.
Overview[]
In Cal Brunker's PAW Patrol: The Movie, the PAW Patrol save Adventure City from the recently-elected Mayor Humdinger who plans to turn the bustling metropolis into a state of chaos. The first season continues where the film left off; Adventure Bay's dogs unite to form the Rescue Pups, a team aiming to save lives around Adventure Bay from both natural and man-made disasters.
In Cal Brunker's PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, the PAW Patrol, Junior Patrollers, and Olympians team up to stop Cronus from destroying Adventure City, while also rediscovering Everest's forgotten past. The second season tells the story from the point of view of the Rescue Pups; their mission becomes harder when Cronus plans to unite his army as part of his plan to take over Adventure Bay. This eventually leads out to an all-out battle between the Rescue Pups and the Rottweiler Titans.
In Cal Brunker's PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, Ryder and the PAW Patrol crash-land on a dinosaur-populated island and are thrown into a series of rescues. In the third season, following the events of The Dino Movie, Adventure Bay's environment has largely proven inhospitable to dinosaurs. It is later revealed that the dinosaurs were accidentally brought to the present by Cronus, breaking the barriers between universes.
In PAW Patrol: Rescue Pups – Doomsday, the PAW Patrol, Rescue Pups, Olympians, Cat Pack, and the Adventure Bay residents team up to face Victor Vance and the Doom Patrol. In the direct sequel PAW Patrol: Rescue Pups – Secret Wars, Victor usurps the power of Loki and creates a new kingdom from the destroyed multiverse in the underworld, rewriting the PAW Patrol's history. Ultimately, with Codi Gizmody's help, a group of survivors and alternate variants of the PAW Patrol's allies rebel against Victor's rulership, creating New Earth.
