Softer is one of the main pups on the PAW Patrol team. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pup and one of the first pups to be a member of the PAW Patrol his number being 2.0. He is the veterinarian pup and a fire safety pup (Season 2). His main purpose is to help others and animals in need and his secondary purpose is to help Chase track down missing animals with the help of his spy gear.
His fire safety job was given to him by Ryder from Marshall getting his EMT job causing him and Softer to switch jobs in a way.
His number 2.0 actually has a meaning behind it being that he is a special edition to the Paw Patrol due to him being a veterinarian pup. What makes Softer special is that he helps animals and communicates with them he is usually called on the most for missions along with Chase. He gets called for most missions due to most of the missions involving animals. His specialty is that he can help any animal big or small Softer does his best to make sure his furry friends are safe and sound.
Bio[]
Softer is a six and a half year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pup that is kind and a bit timid. But being a bit shy doesn’t stop him from being a big help during missions. His main colors are a whiteish pink with a light shade of solid pink being the colors of most of his attires. His favorite color is pink because he thinks the color itself is pretty. On his first debut Softer only worked with animals before later on helping other people as the series went on.
He is also one of the smallest pups, while Skye being the smallest among the Paw Patrol but he is just almost an inch taller than her. He seems to be an animal expert and has shown to be a big help when it comes to animal and medical related missions.
Appearance[]
Softer is a light golden-cream and white pup with light/mint green eyes with two small eyelashes on each eye, small brown nose, brown eyebrows, medium length fluffy and floppy ears that have white fur on the bottom half of them, white fur at the half-end of his fox-like tail, white fur on his paws and soft, a lightly shaggy cream colored bangs that are swept to the right of his face. On missions he typically wears a predominant white uniform with baby pink highlights, same goes for his hat and Pup pack. His medic hat is also predominantly white with a short light pink brim and sliver PAW Patrol emblem. He rarely puts on a head lamp to help him further examine injures. For fire safety his attire is mainly solid light pink with white as a secondary color and a fire cap that concise of the same colors.
For his PAW Patrol: The Movie design Softer’s standard uniform has a more upgraded design with it having a more detailed material, including matching scrubs/pants his medical cap that consists of the same color as his standard uniform that consists of a predominantly white-pink and a solid baby pink.
in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, his standard attire is sporting a more shiny and sleek design, having metallic plates over the top of it with his helmet that has the same metal as his standard attire that consists of a predominantly white-pink and baby pink, when he is power up with his mighty crystal his attire glows a bright light pink. It also has a translucent pink retractable visor that can go into his helmet, and scan through the bodies of others, Softer’s pup pack has also been upgraded having a futuristic look and mechanics as it is removable and can open up like a first aid kit would. Much like the other pups his attire has sleeves with pink thick horizontal lines.

Personality[]
Softer is a bit shy but is very kind and compassionate to anyone or anything he meets but his shyness doesn’t stop him from helping others and saving the day with his pup friends and Ryder! He also has a bit of a playful side to him and has also shown to be good with animals. But his kindness can also be a negative and he often ends up trusting the villains but realizes he’s been tricked later on. But then slowly loses his habit later on. Later on he’s shown to dislike being dirty, Softer likes keeping himself and his stuff clean and organized.
He is helpful and observant, Softer often helps Marshall due to him being clumsy and accident prone, but he doesn’t mind helping him but it does get a little annoying helping him from how often it happens but overall is happy to help his friend in need.
Softer used to have a fear of bees which was first discovered in Pups Save the Queen Bee and his fear was shown for a second time when the pups and Ryder had to face their fears in the episode Pups Save a Toof when they had to help Alex with his fear of the dentist. Later on he had a bit of a fear of ghosts (Phasmophobia) if he so as far hears the mention ghosts he’d quickly hide behind whats ever close to him or one of the pups. But his fear was toned down after he and the Paw Patrol met Frankie in Pups Save a Lonely Ghost. He learned that ghosts aren’t so bad.
Softer has shown to be a natural loving pup and loves to keep his environment clean which is why he doesn’t like Boomer all that much because he sees his monster truck that releases green oil as “bad for the environment”.

Ambulance van
Softer has a whiteish-pink ambulance van with a light shade of pink and has the number 2.0 It also carries Softer’s extra equipment such as a bed/stretcher, animal/pup treat dispenser, heating blanket, bandages and band aids, water machine, ice packs, etc.
Jungle Rescue Ambulance
During rescues in The jungle Softer’s ambulance has a grey push bar sporting in the front of his vehicle and dark pink camouflage painted on his ambulance giving it a jungle-like appearance and to fit in the atmosphere.
Medical boat
For his Sea Patrol vehicle Softer was given an all-terrain boat equipped with sirens and his veterinary tools. It was designed similar to Marshall’s resembling a speed boat.
Marine vehicle
Softer is shown to have an under water vehicle that consists of the colors of his standard vehicle which also has his trusty vet tools that come in handy.
Ultimate emergency ambulance
After being given leadership Softer was given his very own Ultimate rescue vehicle which is a larger version of his usual standard ambulance that was given more space, seven seats for each pup, bigger and more sirens and a big storage unit in the back of it.
Mighty Pups, Super PAWS vehicle
For his super PAWS vehicle Softer drives a whiteish-pink and soild pink highlights with a pink glow color.
Mighty Pups, Charged up Vehicle
his “Mighty pups: Charged up vehicle is about the same as his Super paws Vehicle.
Jet
For “Jet to the Rescue” Softer rides in a predominantly white jet with solid pink highlights with lights and sirens on the jet’s wings.
Dino Rescue Vehicle
His Dino Rescue vehicle is a Dino-shaped ambulance with dark pink dinosaur foot prints all around it’s exterior.
Ready Race Rescue Vehicle
Softer’s ambulance van gets converted into a race car with racing patterns and his signature number on the sides equipped with medical tools in the back of it.
Motocycle
For Moto pups Softer rides in a whiteish pink motorcycle with solid pink highlights and it is equipped with his madical tools.
Big Truck Pups Vehicle
For Softer’s big truck he has a big whiteish-pink truck with solid pink highlights that looks similar the PAW Patroller in size and shape. Unlike the other pups his truck doesn’t have a trailer at the back instead it’s a connected part of the truth that has a huge room inside of it with a storage room with his equipment.
Adventure City Vehicle
Softer’s vehicle in Adventure City is an upgraded version of his normal Ambulance van which now has a bigger size and can go up to higher speeds to help others in danger. It’s also it equipped with a retractable spoiler and a large after burner that emerges for the back of it. (equipment included)
Mighty Ambulance
For his Mighty Movie and Mighty pups vehicle Softer gets a whiteish-pink and black ambulance van. When powered-up by Softer’s power paws the vehicles streaks glow a bright pink. It is equipped with two robotic arms the emerge from the side of it that hands out the tools and equipment he needs.
Rescue Knights Vehicle
His Rescue Knights vehicle is an armored ambulance with a pink dragon symbol on the side of it.
Eel Vehicle
For his Aqua pups vehicle in the aqua pups sub-series, he had a whitish-pink eel submarine/boat with bright pink highlights and white flood lights.
Rescue Wheels Ambulance van
His Rescue wheels vehicle is a big Monster Truck Ambulance with big bright sirens, big black tires, silver and pink rims, and like his other vehicles it has a whitish-pink color with solid pink highlights with pointed heart-rate lines along the side of with his signature pup tag symbol.
Skills and Abilities[]
Softer does have a few skills that he can do but his main skill that he has is that he can communicate with animals in a way that makes them feel safe and easier to rescue which is due do being the veterinarian pup.
Softer is very sweet and trusting which is good for him to rescue animals and others from danger thanks to his kind and loving voice and nature.
As a Mighty pup, he gains the power of healing/fixing broken and damaged objects, If he touches a broken object it regenerates almost instantly. He can use his paws and also he can use the objects that he healed to his advantage and control the objects with his mind almost like telekinesis.
In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. Softer gains the power to move things in slow motion around him which visually looks similar to Rocky’s Power in appearance but it’s not the same. It works like anti-gravity when he can float things and control them with his paws which glows a bright pearl color. He gets his healing power back during a dangerous situation happens on a rescue mission.
Equipment[]
Pup pack
Softer has a pup pack that concise of the same colors as his attire that has his pup tag’s symbol on the top of it with little sirens on it with a grey handle on the back of it. His pup pack is actually a medical kit that is impersonated to be his pup pack. For his tools and equipment that comes out of his pup pack is a otoscope that is used to examine his patients but it also doubles as a flashlight and camera and the second tool he has is a removable and retractable thermometer that is used to check a patient’s temperature it can also be used to determine the temperature outside and the water’s temperature. The third tool is a pair of tweezers that is held with a robotic arm like the rest of his tools. The fourth tool is bandage wrap that he used after Softer has treated his patients but he also uses his bandages to hang or swing from things. The fifth tool is a mini x-ray tablet that is used to scan through patients for broken injuries, for his spy missions with Chase it is upgraded to where Softer can scan through walls. It also has heat seeking vision. The sixth tool is a little plastic box with band-aids. (other equipment is stored in his ambulance)
Pup tag
Like the rest of the Paw Patrol pups Softer has his own personal pup tag. His pup tag has a pink background with a white star of life symbol which represents his main skill of caring for those in need. his pup tag is also used to communicate with his leader Ryder from a far and the other pups. When it is being used it flashes a bright pink color.
For Mighty Pups Softer has a pup tag that has a similar background to his standard pup tag but the symbol on it relates to his mighty power.
For Season 9, Aqua Pups: Pups Save a Floating Castle his pup tag is basically the same as his standard pup tag except his usual white star glows a bright green color.
Pup Bowl
Softer’s Pup bowl consists of the same colors of is attire. It has a whiteish pink color and it has solid pink paw prints going all around it.
Backstory[]
Softer was just a little pup that was previously owned by lovely couple that loved him unconditionally almost like their own child. Until one day the couple mysteriously went missing Which left Softer confused and sad about his owners be gone… one particular day Softer was wondering the streets of Adventure Bay when Ryder found him and saw penitential in this little pup. Making him an official member of the PAW Patrol!
Softer’s backstory isn’t revealed until later on in a movie that centers around him (PAW Patrol: The Jungle Movie) where the movie shows his past with his previous owners.

• his dog breed was originally supposed to be a Welsh Corgi but it was changed in the middle of his character design being developed
