Summary:[]

Zuma has always felt like he's a nobody. Ryder has been calling him less and less. And it annoys the Chocolate Lab to no end. But one day, while out on a job, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, and Zuma get covered in some strange purple ooze, which mutates them into anthropomorphic forms! Forced to hide in the sewers and ensure no one knows of their whereabouts, they decide to practice ninjitsu, dubbing themselves as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Dogs! But things start to go downhill when the evil Shredder and the notorious Foot Clan threatens to destroy all of Adventure City with Humdinger and scientist Baxter Stockman by his side. Even worse, he hires two mutant allies: Bebop, a funky warthog, and Rocksteady, an immensely strong rhinoceros. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Dogs stop Shredder and the Foot Clan before it's too late, and even though Zuma doesn't get a lot of spotlight, he still must know how important he is to the team.

Story[]

Part 1[]

On a warm fall day in Adventure City, a teenage Liberty proudly rode her scooter through the streets.

LIBERTY [PROUDLY]: "Ah, I just love the smell of the fresh air."

Just when she felt like nothing could ruin the moment, her new portable alarm went off. Quickly, she pulled over and answered.

LIBERTY: "This is Liberty. Go ahead."

VOICE [PANICKED]: "Mayday! Mayday! The bank is being robbed! Two thugs just barged in and blew up the bank vault door! And now, they're emptying it out!"

LIBERTY: "Stay calm, I'll be right there."

Then, Liberty sped off as fast her scooter could go.

When Liberty arrived at the bank, she hopped off her scooter and hid behind a trash can. Poking her head out from behind, she could see the thugs loading sacks of money into an armored vehicle.

THUG: "Beebs, hurry up! We don't have all day!"

Liberty realized who was robbing the bank: PAW Patrol rivals Bebop and Rocksteady! She wanted to jump in and stop them. But she knew she wouldn't stand a chance. She would also alert Ryder and the pups, but she didn't want to give herself away.

BEBOP: "Hey, Rock, what's that?"

He pointed to something across the street. Liberty looked in the same direction as the thugs and gasped! The two thugs were walking towards his scooter.

ROCKSTEADY: "Well, Beebs, this scooter belongs to that Long-Haired Dachshund of the PAW Patrol, Liberty! If she's here, we'd better make tracks."

Bebop closed the back of the armored car and hopped in. Rocksteady was about to do the same, when he paused.

ROCKSTEADY: "Hey, Beebs!"

BEBOP: "Yeah, Rock?"

ROCKSTEADY: "If Liberty really is here, why don't we steal her scooter?"

Rolsteady grabbed the scooter and tossed it into the back. Then, he hopped into the armored car. As it took off, a Liberty was furious.

LIBERTY: "Those two are so going to get it!"

Quickly, she activated her pup tag.

In Adventure Bay, Ryder and the pups, all of whom have grown into teenagers, had just gotten back to the Lookout from a job.

RYDER: "Good job, pups."

While the pups were proud of their efforts, Zuma looked down in the dumps.

ZUMA: "Maybe I could've used my water fans to blow those thugs away."

CHASE: "Well, I guess that could've worked."

Marshall scoffed.

MARSHALL: "Yeah, that sounds stupid, like you, Zuma!"
