Thunderpaws: Night and Day

Summary

The Gray and Houseman mining operation now includes planet Mercury; it uses a moving vehicle that stays on the 'dark side' of the planet. However, when a malfunctioning pod leaves the vehicle stranded - and with the sun's blazing 'terminus' drifting ever closer - International Rescue is summoned to solve the problem.

Episode

(It was a busy day on the planet mercury for the Gray and Houseman mining space Crawler.)

Andi: All systems greens, Sir

Mr Gray: Good work, everyone. we’re ahead of two days on schedule. Now, let’s load these capsules into orbit. Capsule one, fire away!

(As they prepared for the second capsule. It was malfunctioning.)

Mr Gray: Something’s wrong.

(The second capsule blow up causing an earthquake through inside the entire crawler.)

Mr Gray: We just lost the second capsule. Stations report.

Andi: Control, this is the engine room. The engine’s busted.

Mr Gray: How many?

Andi: The whole system, Sir. And we’re in trouble.

(They tried to evacuate but the escape pods were busted.)

Mr Gray: If we want to see mercury again. It’ll be at sun rise.

(At IR HQ)

Little Timber: The day on planet Mercury is two months long. The temperature is buried over 100c. That’s why the crawler was constantly moving, barely. So it have to stay on the cool side of the planet at all times.

Sherbet: So, with the crawler’s engines busted. So there’s a matter of time before the sun comes up and those workers are toast.

Skye: What about using Thunderbird 3?

Little Timber: I don’t think it can’t. thunderpaw 3’s life support can’t handle the entire crew at once. We’ll have to find another way when you reach there.

Chase: And that's why exactly we're going on the new Thunderbird that the pups and Brains.

Everest: Exactly, why Brains is going up there to save them including us. We’re on our way!

Chase: Uh, Brains, are you bringing every tool in the hangar?

Brains: I want to be prepared, Chase. There's no t-telling what I'll need to fix the crawler.

Sherbet: You have your brain, Brains. What more do you need?

Brains: P-plasma shielding. (to MAX) Oh, don't forget the p-plasma shielding, MAX!

(They geared up, suited up and got into the new Thunderbird.)

Brains: Thunderbird 16 is go!

(On the way to mercury)

Skye: C’mon, Brains. You have scanned on the crawler a few times already.

Brains: Even the engineers on board don’t know how to get it moving again but still we are great professionals who know how to fix this and tried not to get roasted. Hope I got enough plasma shields to do the job.

Everest: Alright, Brains. Try and get some rest. We got a long ride ahead of us. Firing ion engines in three, two, one!

(As Thunderbird 16 activate into hyper speed all the way to the planet Mercury.)

(At IR HQ)

Tuck: Aurora where are you Ella's gonna kill me i lost my daughter

Aura: You lost Aurora Tuck you had one job

(Ella came running in.)

Ella: Have anyone seen Ace she wasn't in her room?

Bud: I think Aurora and Ace stow away on Thunderbird 16.

(On Thunderbird 16)

Aurora:Ouch

Ace:cous be quiet

Everest open the storage room door

Ace:hi Auntie Everest

Aurora:hi Auntie Skye

Skye:ACE AURORA YOUR NOT MEANT TO BE HERE

Aurora:im sorry Ace's idea

Ace:hey

Little timber: hey Skye Bud inform you might have uninvited guest onboard

(The adults looked at the camera footage.)

Sherbet: I don't believe it.

Everest: She must have secretly got the access code by copying it into the guardkey.

Chase: Look at that. Look at that. You let her right in. Unbelievable. Do you have any idea what you've done?

Ace: You grown ups have the fun without us. And that's why we'll need help.

Aurora: We just only want to rescue people like you.

Skye: You're not a Thunderbird yet, girls. You're just have to wait till you girls are older. And this? This is trouble you can't even fathom. You know what? You young lady, you're gonna sit here with your cousin. You're gonna be quiet, and you're not gonna move.

(When they landed at Mercury.)

Andi: Is those guys good?

Mr Gray: We have no choice, Andi.

Andi: we’re putting our lives in someone’s else hands.

Mr Gray: Brains, is it?

Brains: Yes, that's me.

Mr Gray: Glad to me meet you. Bob Gray and this is Andi Houseman.

Brains: Hi

Mr Gray: Andi

Andi: What’s up.

Mr Gray: Alright, let’s get down to business.

Brains: Just as we thought. The payload capsule explosion was the result of kerosene.

Andi: And how does get that to our engines in this crawler.

Brains: Well, you see. Repairing the launch tubes for evacuation wasn’t had option.

Mr Gray: So, you can fix the engine.

Brains: We fix the engine. That will save your crew and your crawler.

Andi: Alright, let’s see what you and the old man you got.

(At the engine room)

Andi: The capsule cause a chain reaction into the engine’s system. I fix them all but the engine hasn’t been stomped.

Brains: You have using battery power to run your life support then?

Andi: Almost every drop of it. We’re down to 15%.

Everest: That explains it may be a bigger problem. We need a dull power battery to restart the engine.

Skye: That sounds like a real problem. Can TB 16’s engines restored the engine.

Brains: No but, I have something much bigger. Skye, you’re going with me for a drive.

Skye: Yes, I’ll go figure my lunar pod.

(Outside)

Skye: You know how much I love dangerous mission but you do realise that this is totally insane.

Andi: Actually this is brilliant.

Skye: Okay, let’s review: we drive close to the edge, drop off the solar panel and hurried back here before we get sorched alive.

Brains: Exactly. When the sun hits the panels, its beam will completely charged the batteries and then the crawler will get going again simple.

(They activate the solar panels and quickly left. They attached Thunderbird 16 onto the crawler and it is revealed that the spaceship can travel on land by mounting caterpillar treads.)

Mr Gray: Very impressive.

Everest: Okay, Thunderbird 16 is secured.

Sherbet: Everyone, hold on to something tight! Okay, take it away, Skye!

(Skye ignite TB 3’s engines. And the crawler’s engines started to gain power.)

Andi: Engine conditions are moving up.

Brains: That’s it, it’s working! More, Skye! More!

(Then there was trouble. The crawler was starting to turn onto the starboard side.)

Chase: We’re losing control of it! We’re breaking up!

(They break lose and started to drift off course but luckily Chase and Skye hits the breaks just in time.)

Everest: You girls okay back there?

Ace: Super-duper, Aunt Everest!

Aurora: Let's do that again.

Chase: Brains, is it working now?

Brains: The engines are okay but it’s just that we have a huge major problem.

At the control center,

Andi: I can fix it but it won’t be easy. Especially the sun when closing in on us.

Mr Gray: I have faith in you kid. All of us do. I just need a little reminder.

(Mr Gray told his men that life isn’t something that doesn’t goes on as plan but still they must figure out a way to fix it right and then they realise how true his words were and they always found a way.)

Mr Gray: Now, let’s get out there and get this done.

Andi: The reports are still coming in

Sherbet: Girls, come over here. I need you to help Ms Andi with the repairs. Can you do that?

Ace: I thought we were kicked out.

Sherbet: I'm kicking you back in.

Chase: She's pretty good at turning junk into Vehicles, Jaegers and other equipment.

Andi: You good with that?

Ace: Yeah, I do.

Andi: All right. We got a lot of work to do, and not a lot of time.

(They got to work and start replace parts and techniques piece by piece to make it going again before the sun gets closer right at them.)

Andi: Brains, how we’re looking at the time?

Brains: Um, the sun on the other side is saying it is now rising on the other side.

Andi: Being afraid doesn’t work that way, pal.

(As they tighten the last straw, they got themselves in just in time.)

Andi: Alright, let’s move it forward, quarter speed.

(As the crawler hurls down the grey sands.)

Mr Gray: That’s it! Nice and easy. Careful now! We’re back on track, people. Now let’s keep this thing into get and found ourselves some midnight.

Brains: We need more speed!

Skye: Now you’re talking!

(They got out from the sun just in time and the workers cheered thanks to their help.)

(Later, it was time for them to go back home on earth.)

Mr Gray: Thanks, International Rescue, we couldn’t have done it without your help.

Chase: The pleasure is ours, Mr Gray.

Skye: And if you or crew gets stuck by the sun for three whole days wide, just give us a call or yelp for help.

(On the way home)

Sherbet: Listen, about earlier—

Ace: Uncle Sherbet, let me save you a lecture. You were right, and I was wrong. Turns out there are advantages to being smart. I'm sorry. I had this really great lecture planned. Sherbet: Even rehearsed it in front of the mirror.

(Sherbet and Ace hugs)

Bruce: Now, let’s go home! Aurora, fire up the solar panels!

Aurora: F.A.B. Blast-off!

Ace and Aurora: Thunderbird 16 is go!
