And when Timmy goes too far at one point, can the PAW Patrol save the day?
And can Wyatt convince Timmy that he’s taken things too far?
Chapter 1: Greg Scares Skye[]
One day at the Lookout tower, I noticed Greg pull out a jar and yawned into it, but everyone couldn’t hear it.
”Hey Greg? What’s with the jar?” Marshall spoke up.
”This is my sound proof jar. I usually yawn into it.” Greg said.
”But why?” I asked curiously.
”Eh... You don't wanna know." Greg sounded hesitant.
"And why's that?" I asked again.
Greg sighed. ”Fine. Just remember, you asked for this. This was not my idea.”
He yawned and it sounded like an eagle screech, then we all looked at each other, shocked.
”See? And since Skye’s playing on the tire swing, she doesn’t know it’s me.” Greg continued.
At that moment, Skye immediately ran up to me, screaming, before leaping into my arms.
"I heard an eagle screech 'round here! Where is it?! Don’t let it hurt me!“ She blurted out, shaking in fear.
”Hey, hey! It's okay Skye...!" I said, comforting her. "It may have already flew away or something."
“Skye, it was me.” Greg spoke.
”What?!"
”Yeah, I have a medical condition that makes my yawn sound like an eagle.”
“Well, can you please not do that again?” The flying pup spoke softer, now calmed down and snuggled up in my arms.
”That’s easier said than done, Skye. Yawns just happen. Luckily, I always yawn into the sound proof jar.”
”I want to say something, but I don’t think Skye should hear it.” Mike spoke.
”Don’t worry Mike, I bet I can take it.” Skye said.
”Well, if you say so." Mike paused before speaking again. "There’s a small chance that Greg might accidentally lose the jar. And if we were to go on a mission that has something to do with an eagle, Skye wouldn’t be able to tell whether it’s Greg’s yawn or the eagle itself.”
Now Skye was shaking again.
”Dang. How have I never learned this from the day I met you, Greg?" I thought out loud.
“I, uh... I think I’ll see you guys later.” Skye said hesitantly before she hopped out my arms, ran over to her pup house, and shut herself in it, looking terrified the whole time.
“Way to go Mike! Did you have to say that!? Now, Skye is scared of me!” Greg said sarcastically.
"Well I'm sorry for pointing out the obvious." Mike shot back just as sarcastic.
"Hey, calm down, guys." I intervened. "We can't figure anything out if we keep arguing like this."
Then Caitlin butts in. “How dare you scare Skye, Greg!” She spoke with anger in her voice.
”Caitlin, what the donuts!? Now you’re mad at me because of something I can’t control!? It’s not my fault my yawn sounds like that. It’s a medical condition I was born with!”
“Well you need to do something about it, cause Skye can’t live with that cause she’s scared of eagles.”
“Why do you think I have my sound proof jar?”
But Caitlin was too annoyed with Greg’s eagle sounding yawns to listen.
“Caitlin! Are you even listening to me!?” Greg shouted.
“Do you listen to ME?! I’m just worried about Skye and her phobia, okay?!” Caitlin shot back.
”Well, I am too!"
Caitlin scoffed at this.
”Caitlin, I’m serious!”
”So am I, Greg. I’m worried about Skye and her fears, why else do you think she’s hiding in her pup house?”
”Exactly, so why are yelling at me over something I can’t control?”
”Yeah Caitlin, that was kinda mean. You wouldn’t tell somebody with disabilities to just get over it, would you?” Mike chimed in.
”Oh..." Caitlin paused for a moment. "S-sorry... The eagle noise made me jump too, actually..."
”It’s ok. But now, Skye is scared and she might not even want to be around me anymore!” Greg said.
”Guys, I think it’s time we do something about Skye’s fear of eagles. We have to get rid of them.” Wyatt said.
”Well what should we do?” asked Everest.
We thought about it for a bit until Wyatt came up an idea.
“I know! I can call my Uncle Dave! He’s a therapist and a pretty nice person.” Wyatt said.
”Sounds like a solid plan, Wyatt." I commented.
Wyatt used his phone to call his uncle.
”Hey, uncle Dave." ..... "Oh! Sorry, I forgot about that." ..... "Well, enjoy your trip!" ..... "Bye!” After that, Wyatt ended the call.
”AAAAAAAAAAUGH, DANG IT!” Wyatt suddenly shouted, slamming his fist on his seat.
“What’s wrong?!” asked Chase.
”Uncle Dave is taking a break so he can go on a vacation to Canada!” said Wyatt.
”Now what do we do?” asked Zuma.
Suddenly, Mike had an idea. ”I just had a brain blast guys! Dave left his son home because he didn’t want to go, so we can just call Timmy since his dad taught him about being a therapist.”
”You want me to call my cousin?” Wyatt asked.
”Of course I do.” Mike said.
”I’m not so sure about that, Mike. Timmy is a bit strict." Wyatt remarked. "Okay, scratch that. REALLY strict.”
”Ok what else can we do?” asked Rocky.
”Sorry guys, but I already called him and he’s on his way.” Mike said.
”You called him before I even responded to your comment!?” Wyatt yelled.
”Mike, you know we always have to ask permission first!” Greg said.
“But I didn’t feel like it.” said Mike.
”Well, hopefully this teaches you to always ask first .” replied Greg.
“Ok then.“ Mike said.
Chapter 2: Meeting Timmy[]
“I swear, Timmy better not do anything he’ll regret.” Wyatt said.
”But what if he does?” Zuma asked.
”Then, I’m going to yell in his ear.” replies Wyatt.
Timmy arrived in his car, exited it, and slammed the car door.
“Oh, hey Timmy.” Wyatt said.
”Hey Wyatt, now shut up!” Timmy said.
”Yep! I knew he was gonna say that.” Wyatt said, facepalming.
”Why'd Timmy say that?” whispered Everest.
”Because, Timmy is a bit of a jerk. But Wyatt still thinks that he can change.” Mike said.
”Well anyone can change.” pointed out Chase.
”Hey Marshall!” Timmy said.
”Yeah?” Marshall asked.
”You are so very very dumb!” Timmy said.
”Timmy!” Wyatt yelled.
Marshall teared up at the hurtful comment.
”Why would he do that?“ he whimpered.
”Hey, don’t say that to him!” Adam exclaimed, hugging Marshall trying to comfort him.
”Marshall, don’t listen to him.” Rubble said.
”Timmy, I did not invite you here to insult my friends. I invited you here to help one of them.” Wyatt said.
”Who?“ Timmy asked.
”Skye. She has a really big fear of eagles. And since your dad’s on vacation, I bet you picked up some of his therapy skills.” Wyatt said.
“Fine! I’ll get rid of her fear.” Timmy said.
“Ok. But, there’s one more thing I need to tell you.” Wyatt said.
”What’s that?” asked Timmy.
Wyatt glared at Timmy.
”In the mother of all cotton candy, if you do something that hurts Skye, I will not hesitate to give you a concussion.” he said, knowing that Timmy is prone to take things to far.
“Oh, you’re not gonna do anything.” Timmy said.
”Oh my gosh. Can you just please help Skye already?“ Wyatt asked.
”Ok!” replied Timmy.
As he walked off, Chase was walking back and forth nervously.
”What’s wrong Chase?” asked Rocky.
”I’m really worried about Skye. I don’t want Timmy to hurt her.” Chase said, worried about his girlfriend.
”Let’s just keep an eye on Timmy and see what he does.” I said.
Chapter 3: Timmy’s Bad Treatment[]
Timmy went up to Skye’s pup house, but he started slamming on the door.
”Open up!” he yelled.
Skye was startled by Timmy’s yelling.
”Ah! Who is it!?” she asked.
”I’m Timmy, Wyatt’s cousin. He wanted me to help you with your fear of eagles since my dad can’t. So get out here!” Timmy shouted.
Skye opened the door and walked out of her pup house.
”That’s better. Now, come on! We’ve got stuff to do.” Timmy said.
LATER…
”Ok, for the first test, I’m gonna make you listen to eagle screeches with these headphones.” Timmy said.
Skye’s eyes opened wide in shock.
”But, I’m not ready for that.” Skye said, shaking.
”Yes, of course you are. Now let me put these on you.” Timmy said.
He pressed a button that made the headphones latch on to Skye’s head so she couldn’t take them off.
”Hey, I can’t get this off!” Skye said, trying to take off the headphones.
“That’s the point!“ Timmy said.
Then, he pressed a button which started the eagle noises in the headphones.
The eagle noises started to scare Skye.
”No! Turn it off! Turn it off!” she exclaimed.
However, Timmy didn’t turn it off. Instead, he kept on pressing the button, making the eagle screeches more scary and demonic.
“Stop! Please!” Skye screamed.
Skye was getting more and more scared but Timmy didn’t care.
However, Timmy stopped the noise and Skye was finally able to remove the headphones.
”Did it work?” Timmy asked.
”No! Now, I’m even more scared!” Skye shouted.
”Dang it! I thought that would work! Ok, time for the next step.” Timmy said.
LATER…
”Ok, so the next step is to talk about it.” Timmy said.
“Ok… This step is better than the last one you thought of.” Skye said.
”Alright Skye, why do you find eagles scary?” Timmy asked.
”Um, because eagles are just so big, and they can be really dangerous to small animals. Like me.” Skye said.
”I see. Skye, an eagle wouldn’t harm you right away. Instead, this will happen.” Timmy said.
He started make up a bunch of painful and gruesome things that the eagle would do to hurt Skye.
”And after that, you’d be dead. So, did that help with your fear?” Timmy asked.
Skye was not better. In fact, she became so afraid that she started whimpering.
”No!” Skye shouted.
“How do you feel after that discussion?” Timmy asked.
Skye gave Timmy a stern look.
”How do you think I feel?” she asked.
”Happy.” Timmy said.
”Well, I’m not. You made me even more scared of eagles. At this point, I’m not even sure you’re trying to help me.” Skye said.
”No! Don’t be stupid! I am doing something about it. You know what? We’re going straight to the last test.” Timmy said.
As they both began to walk away, Greg and Mike were observing the whole process.
”Mike, we need to tell someone.” Greg said.
”I know, but who?” asked Mike.
”Ryder!” Greg shouted.
A BIT LATER…
Skye and Timmy were at the cliff where Mama Eagle’s nest was.
”Now, for the last test, I’m gonna make you stay in Mama Eagle’s nest for her to come home.” Timmy said.
Skye gasped in horror.
”What!?” she exclaimed.
”You heard me.” Timmy said.
”But, I can’t…” Skye said.
”DO IT!” Timmy yelled.
”Or else what?” Skye asked
”If you don’t do it, I will slap you.“ Timmy said.
Skye used her wings to get up to Mama Eagles nest.
”I really don’t want to do this.“ she said.
”I don’t care! Now, I’m going to go get something to eat. And you’d better not leave that nest!” Timmy yelled.
He walked off leaving Skye alone in Mama Eagles nest.
”Man. Timmy is really strict.” Skye said.
She then heard an eagle screech.
”Uh-oh! The eagle is coming. I don’t care if Timmy wants me to stay here! I need to get out of here!” Skye said.
She tried to fly away from the nest, but she got tugged back.
”Huh?” Skye said.
She looks back and gasps. Her legs are tangled up in the nest.
”Oh-no, I’m stuck!” she cried.
Skye struggled and strained with all her might and she couldn’t break free.
”Oh-no! I can’t get out of the nest!” Skye said, sighing in frustration.
Skye growled in anger.
”I can’t believe this. First, I have to deal with the horrible treatment, and now I’m actually stuck in an eagle’s nest.” Skye said.
The eagle screeched again, causing Skye to curl up.
She then realized something.
”Of course, I can call Ryder!” Skye said, pressing her pup tag.
MEANWHILE…
Greg and Mike were telling Ryder about Timmy’s horrible treatment of Skye.
”He thought it was a good to make Skye listen to eagle screeches.” Greg said.
”And then, he said some really messed up things about how an eagle would hurt her.” Mike said.
”That’s horrible! We need to stop Timmy from doing this!“ Ryder said.
Then his pup pad rang. He answered it, and saw Skye.
”Ryder! I’m in really big trouble!” Skye said.
”Skye, what happened!?” Ryder asked.
”Timmy made me fly up to Mama Eagles nest and he left to get something to eat, but then I heard Mama Eagles screeching. And when I tried to leave, my legs got tangled in the nest! Now, I’m stuck!” Skye said.
”Don’t worry Skye, we’ll get you free, no job is too big, no pup is too small!” replied Ryder.
He pulled out the side of his pup pad and pressed the button to call the rest of the Paw Patrol.
”Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!” Ryder said.
”Ryder needs us!” we said.
Mike dropped a bottle of glue he was using to make arts and crafts, and it spilled.
Then, Marshall accidentally stepped in the glue and got stuck.
”Huh, where’d this glue come from?” he asked.
He tried to pull his paw out, but it just kept sticking to the ground.
”I’m stuck.” Marshall said.
”Hang on Marshall. Let me help.” Adam said.
He started to pull Marshall back, but they both got catapulted to the elevator. At least Marshall wasn’t stuck anymore.
”Sorry Marshall, I was making arts and crafts but I dropped this bottle of glue and it spilled.” explained Mike.
”Mike, you can’t just throw stuff on the ground like that.” Wyatt said.
”Yeah, you’re right. I was just in a hurry.” Mike said.
“It’s ok Mike, but next time there’s an emergency, I don’t want to be STICKING around outside.” Marshall said.
As we all laughed, the elevator went up, we got our gear, and we hopped into the control room.
”PAW Patrol ready for action Ryder, sir!” Chase said.
Ryder pulled down the screen.
”Thanks for hurrying guys. Timmy just put Skye in danger.” Ryder said.
Wyatt groaned in irritation.
”Oh my goodness. What did he do this time?” Wyatt asked, facepalming.
”He made Skye fly up to Mama Eagles nest but then he went to get something to eat and when Skye heard Mama Eagle screeching she tried to fly away but her legs got tangled in the nest and now she’s stuck.” explained Ryder.
”Poor Skye. She must be so scared!” Chase said, worried about his girlfriend.
”I actually can’t believe Timmy would do something like this! I’m going to make sure he’s so dead, but Skye comes first.” Wyatt said, angrily.
”Yes, we need to free Skye before Mama Eagle returns to her nest. So, for this mission I’ll need Marshall. I’ll need you to use your ladder to get up to the nest.” Ryder said.
”I’m ready for a ruff ruff rescue!” Marshall exclaimed.
“Chase, I need you to use your drone to distract Mama Eagle.” Ryder said.
”Chase is on the case!” Chase exclaimed.
“Wyatt, in case Timmy comes back and tries to stop us, you’ll have to try and reason with him.” Ryder said.
”Gain way cause here comes the gamer train!” Wyatt said.
”Rocky, I’ll need you to use your tools to free Skye. And Paul, you’ll be there to defend Skye from Mama Eagle.” Ryder said.
”Green means go!” Rocky exclaimed.
”I’ll shoot to save the day!” I exclaimed.
”Alright! PAW Patrol is on a roll!” Ryder said.
Ryder, me, and Wyatt slid down the pole while the pups went down the slide into their vehicles.
Soon, we were on our way to the cliffs.
Chapter 4: The Big Save[]
MEANWHILE…
Skye was still struggling.
”Come on!” she growled.
As she sighed, Mama Eagle’s screeching got louder.
”Uh-oh!” she cried.
As she started to struggle even faster, the others arrived.
Chase barked out his microphone.
”Skye, are you okay?” he asked.
“Chase! I’m okay, just stuck!” Skye said, happy to see her boyfriend.
”Don’t worry. We’ll have you free in second.” Chase said.
Marshall barked out his ladders and me, Chase, and Rocky started to climb it.
The three of us climbed up the ladder and then we reached the top.
Chase ran over to Skye, and the two nuzzled each other.
“Aw!” said Rocky and I.
However, Timmy came back and saw what was going on.
”Hey! What do you think you’re doing!?” Timmy asked.
“What do you think, Einstein? Saving Skye from the eagle!” I said.
Timmy picked up a small rock in order to throw it at us, but Wyatt smacked it out of his hand.
”Timmy! I will end you if Skye ends up getting hurt by the eagle!” Wyatt said.
As Chase and Skye continue to snuggle each other, Mama Eagle finally arrived.
”Uh-oh! She’s here!” Wyatt shouted.
”Yeah! Eat Skye up!” Timmy shouted.
”WHAT!!!!?” Wyatt screamed.
He then proceeded to beat up Timmy.
As Skye shook in fear and whimpered, Chase growled at Mama Eagle.
”Hey! Leave her alone!” Chase exclaimed.
I also blocked Skye’s way.
”Yeah! You heard him!” I said.
Meanwhile, Rocky was using his tools to free Skye.
Just then, the mama eagle’s babies flew back to their nest, but Skye wasn’t afraid of them. She actually found them cute.
”Aww, they’re so cute.” Skye said.
The baby eagles were chirping something at their mother.
”What are they saying?” Rocky asked.
“I don’t know. Maybe Mike will.” I said, pulling out my pup pad.
Mike appeared on the screen.
”Hi Mike. Do you know what the baby eagles are saying?” I asked.
”Well, I am a bird, so let me see.” said Mike.
He started to observe the little eagles for a while.
”Hey! The baby eagles are on our side! They’re telling their mother that Skye is a friend.” Mike said.
”Well, that’s good. I guess the baby eagles like you, Skye.” said Chase.
”Yeah, I guess they do.” Skye said, smiling.
Mama Eagle screeched angrily.
”Uh oh. I don’t think Mama Eagle believes her babies.” Mike said.
”Maybe I can reason with her. My yawn is an eagle screech and it’s what started this.” Greg said, appearing next to Mike.
“Ok, fire away Greg.” Rocky said.
”Uh, hey. Your babies are not lying. Skye is a great pup once you get to know her.” Greg said.
Mama Eagle screeched loudly at Greg, but he wasn’t scared.
He popped his head through my screen and screeched even louder at Mama Eagle. (aka: He yawned.)
